post D syndrome

symptom2:

1. dok saje depan laptop tak wat pe.. dan tak tau nak wat apa
2. terbaring atas katil tak tau nak wat apa
3. stare into blank space with a blank mind
4. rasa malas yang amat sangat nak berbuat apa2 yg bukan akademik cth: masak, mkn, buat air, pegi rumah sebelah, browse ebay
5. jerit busan berkali2 tapi tak gak buat apa2
6. rasa cam nak pk sesuatu tapi tak tau nak pk apa..
7. rasa cam nak gi library tapi tak tau nak buat apa kat sana
8. kebusanan yg menular tahap gaban nak mati dah nih... [tambah plak aku takleh online kat bilik.. huargghhh...T_T aku bakar jugak marjon nih kang...]

anyway.. aku sedang cuba meng PDF kan my dearest Mr D for your viewing. hehe.. nak post kat sini cam melampau panjang giler.. so aku post acknowledgment n abstract je la ek...

Abstract

This dissertation aims to evaluate a Malaysian Primary English Textbook with regard to its effectiveness in teaching and learning English as Second Language. In the first chapter, the Malaysian context regarding the status of the English Language in the Malaysian Society and Education System is explained. A brief introduction of the Malaysian Education System, textbook and the research done is given. The questionnaire-based research focusing on the status of textbook in the Malaysian Classroom is done to support the discussion. Chapter 2 discussed the theories of learning, second language acquisition and their implications for classroom practice. It focuses on developing vocabulary and reading skills in Malaysian Classroom context. In the third chapter, criteria for evaluation checklist are developed. 2 units from the chosen textbook are evaluated based on lesson plans. Suggestions and recommendations are made to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
