Raya 2009

everything was in a breeze. hubby ponteng kerja 45mins in order to beat the traffic. hehehe.. about 4pm + he was already on his way into my loving arms.. *uhuk* and he arrived about 6.30pm yipee yeah yeah...

saturday was busy as a bee. hehe. all the rendang n kuah kacang. berperang dengan adam pun ye jugak.. huhu.. the little gem doesnt require much attention cos he likes to play on his own. he is sooo absorb in his own world with bumblebee n optimus prime. huhu he is just a little demanding when its bed time.. kids. at buka puasa time.. he was crying.. and screaming 'Nak be-rina!!!!' which translate to 'nak air ribena.. ' hahahaha too much of a tongue twist for him i guess.. me as the sooo penyayang auntie.. buat kan air anggur in place of air be-rina. he was satisfied.. happy as a bumblebee again. Our little plan was postponed as right after Isya' it was raining heavily as heavy as it can be!!! huhu.. soooo sad!!!

Sunday. Raya oredi!! yipeee!!! wake up early.. help mom to prepare2 a bit. makan n help hubby to get ready for raya prayers. took ages to actually get ready and make up. love my tudung to bits n pieces.. walaupun a bit susah untuk di pakai..maklum le first time lilit nih..hehe..

As usual on hari raya after prayers, we will have official salam raya. Mama usually give gift rather than duit raya. So i did the same. I bought body shop items for my mom, MIL and my SIL.. kaya ke kayap ntah..huhu..

here is what happen before it starts while waiting for the pretty princess *moi* betulkan make up and tudung dia...

as u can see.. there is a pile of gifts on the chair * kerusi kawen ku*.. adam pick the one that was really meant for him. cheeky boy! and sesi bergambar bermula. mom actually ask a profesional cameraman to come n take pictures.. hehe. owh soooo posh!! cant wait for the pictures to come!!

Gorgeous pix wasnt it. look at the darling boy.. bergaya bukan main lagi.. Aja n Adik was behind the camera.. =(

at about noon. we all went back to Pekan.. all the siblings went to take pictures at the seaside under the scorching sun! it was hot! Rush back to Kuantan as we are having a mini kenduri ala open house.. huhu which includes BBQ. so had to marinate n all.. i was thinking to actually make some coleslaw but i dont even have the time. so many people came and all was happy n merry n gay! owh it was soooooo cool. all our food are sold out! come to the end of it.. we get to balas dendam. lama jugak le tahan sabar dengar jauh2 sayup berbunyi.. iskk

eeeeeee.....BOOOOMMMM!! Fuyoooo.....! *clap clap*

eeeeeeeeeeeeee BOOOM... BOOOOMMMMM * clap clap sambil lompat2* hehehe

haaa mana tadi.. balas aaa!!!! takut aaa tuh.. aku punya cam KLCC pergghhh... hehehe

the show was ok and agak lama la jugak.. ada la beberapa das.. next time i will leave the buying to my brothers. i stick to bunga api and all.. huhu. my pick tak best langsung. buat bazir duit aku jek.. setakat bunyi *kepeh..kepeh* tak mau laaaaaaa... iskk teringat plakkk main mercun kat UK dulu..huhu syok lerrr... kalau le aku ingat nama2 dia ek..buleh kot cari.

Monday.. wake up pretty late. went back to Lanchang. did nothing but sleep due to high heat of the afternoon sun. woke up and went raya-ing at Pak Long's house. then went back straight to Kuantan. Adam dah balik to Johore.. haih~~ dont know when i can picit that comel pretty face again.. =(

Tuesday.. get ready to go back to terengganu. its his turn to berhari raya with his side.. it took some 10 hours drive all the way to Kg Raja.. huhu.. malam baru sampai.. tido jek la terus.

Wednesday..dok layan orang datang rumah.. sampai lupa nak mandi.. heh. both of us. so no complaint there. huhuhu

Thursday. went to KB for kenduri. how simple kenduri at this side of Malaysia.. it amazes me. due to the hot hot weather, on the way back i suffer a killer headache. had asked hubby to find me a refreshing air kelapa. i wanted to just buy it by the roadside.. but hubby insist of picking it straight from the pokok.. haih~~~ romantic le konon.. tapi di sebabkan terhidangnyer laksan yang sedap.. aku kira romantic le jugak..

And its already Friday.. went back to Kuantan. took a slow and relaxing journey back down the road by the seaside.. had kilos of keropok lekor and glasses of air kelapa.. yummmy!!!!

Saturday.. wake up late again! haha.. by noon, went out to run errands. then we get ready to masak2 bbq again.. had so much fun.. trying different things. had some *ka boom* leftovers.. so had a mini show.. hehe.. simpan for raya haji plakkk

Sunday. oredi? tak puas lagi bermanja2..huhu.. nak balik dah? and because of the expected heavy traffic, he wanted go back earlier.. hati tak rela.. but if he caught in the traffic for hours i will blame myself and feel bad for dayssssss... bila hubby nak balik.. mula la sakit2.. nak demam la...selsema la.. sakit kepala la.....macam2 ada..

But overall Raya was FUN!! of course all good time flew like seaside breeze.. Hope its not too late to wish everyone a

it only took almost 8 hours to complete. thanks to my tiny weenie oven!! heh!

when i was a little girl. we used to have this big and huge oven that can baked 4 dozens of cookies at one time. raya cookies baking is a breeze! we used to do pineapple tarts, almond london, conflakes madu, choc chips, chashew nut cookies, biskut suji etc etc..

now only 3 favourite cookies. the rest are all tunjuk2 cookies hehehe..

although its almost 11 months now that i am a wife, i never really be a full time wife not even during the school holidays.



thus, i am looking forward to be one. although if one ever know who i really am, ie has live with me over a period of time should know how bloody lazy i am. hehehe and how i bloody love to sepah2 barang. =)



i am easily upset with unfamilliar environment. so i like the way they are. i like minimal change. that explain why i rarely change the layout of my room (s). and of course my definition of kemas is totally not mainstream. hehehe.



i wonder how am i going to cope with all the housework. masak, basuh kain, basuh pinggan, kemas rumah, kemas katil, lipat selimut, gosok baju, etc etc... huhu aiyok mampukah aku?? hubby is his mom's baby ie youngest child. so more or less manja nyer lebey... ~~tapi aku tetap lebih manja yek.. =P



must train him to help me doing all the stuff i dont like. ie jemur kain and lipat kain.. wohoohooo..

now really looking forward to own a house. huhu.. friends has been asking if me+hubby nak wat open house this raya.. i would just answer..

"kita takdak rumah... kreta ada la..open car buleh?" sambil wat muka seposen

"pergh ala2 car-boot laaa.." heh.. ada plakk makhluk Allah nih.. aku sekeh baru tau

so nowadays, whenever we drive around in KL, instead of paying attention to hubby, my eyes wander looking for our future crib. pantang nampak papan tanda. hehe..

its an endless n tiring process. but i must learn to be patient. the time will come when i can handle the responsibilities n pressure.

my wiken jalan2 was fun n sad in different ways. will blog about it soon. ~~

Laychee Kang Panas

biasa la.. bila dah bergelar isteri, maka akan berusahalah menyediakan juadah kegemaran suami..

betul?

saya juga begitu walaupun saya ada sedikit angin hanya suka masak yang saya suka makan.. wakakaka...

namun begitu hubby sangat la suka laychee kang panas. saya suka yang sejuk =P

sudah 2 kali kami ke penang wat trip makan2, 2 kali itu juga kami makan di satu tempat itu - nama sudah lupa, meaning kena pegi lagi very soon - untuk menikmati makanan kegemaran saya iaitu pasembor.. yummmmmyyyy

setiap dua kali itu juga suami saya akan mengorder laychee kang panas..

'sangat sedap katanyerrr. teramatla sedap... sehingga yang paling sedap sekali kat Malaysia nih.. ' begitulah kesedapannyer.. kata dia la..saya rasa normal je. =p

maka sempena bulan puasa ini, banyaklah di jual air laychee kang di pasar2 ramadhan. maka tatkala hubby berbuka bersama saya.. air itu akan terhidanglah..

'sedap tak?' saya tanya

'sedap yang kat penang lagi' dia kata

owh baiklah.. dia suka yang tu juga..

tapi dia tak tau... saya punya plan B. akan ku tuntut ilmu membuat air laychee kang panas sehingga menjadi kegilaan suamiku hehehehe

dia takkan ingat dah laychee kang mamak penang tuh lagi!

Bahan2 membuat laychee kang panas.

*boleh dibeli di kedai ubat cina. alos yang jual ginseng2 tuh..*

cara2 memasaknya (di import dari internet) :
Rebus kurma merah, cendawan putih dan barli hingga empuk.
Bila empuk masukkan gula batu mengikut rasa dan halwa kundur.
boleh tambah air jika air dah berkurangan dan rasa agak manis.
Sementara tu rendam kembang semangkuk dalam air panas hingga kembang.
rendam juga biji selasih dalam air panas/sejuk.
Angkat rebusan kurma dan masukkan kembang semangkuk yang telah kembang di dalam mangkuk (hehehehe) serta biji selasih.
kalau nak tambah lagi bahan2nya, boleh masukkan laici dalam tin atau nata de coco.
Ada orang suka bubuh kacang goreng ke kismis ke, ikut kreativiti masing2 lah
Sedap diminum suam2 dan amat menyegarkan badan setelah meminumnya....
Silalah cuba lebih2 lagi untuk bulan puasa.

bahan asas cuma RM5sepeket - kat kedai cina yang aku beli tuh le. kat Giant pun ada juga. owh buleh di tambah pelbagai aksesori (buah kembang semangkuk, snow fungus, kacang, halwa kundur, red dates, cincau, etc etc ) lain mengikut selera..

nanti bila dah jadi laychee kang cap pr3ttych3rry akan ku uploadkan di sini..
