pernah aku merasa takjub masa di bumi asing ini pantas berlalu. sekelip mata saja. sudah setengah tahun berlalu. kemudian setahun berlalu. dan kini.. tinggal setengah tahun saja lagi. aku masih belum puas hidup di bumi asing ini tapi masa terus berlari...
...maka tinggal la 6 bulan saja lagi untuk aku hidup di bumi asing ini. bumi asing yg tetap asing. walau aku sangat selesa di sini, hingga kerap kali aku pasti aku tidak mahu meninggalkan bumi asing ini. tapi bumi ini ttp asing. =)
kehidupan di bumi asing ini terlalu indah buat aku. paling indah. walau apa pun yg terjadi. bersinar matahari di bumi asing ini dengan tawa ku. basah juga bumi asing ini dgn air mata ku. berhembus angin di bumi asing ini dengan senyumku. bergetar juga bumi asing ini dengan amarah ku. ianya tetap indah. tersemat di hati.
kehidupan di bumi asing ini amat berharga buat ku. kehidupan yg asing buat aku. asing tapi berharga. harganya di bayar dengan persahabatan. dengan gelak tawa. dengan ketidakpastian. dengan air mata. dengan kita bertukar menjadi aku, kau dan dia. berbaloikah? runtuhnya pautan hati hati yg pernah berdiri tegak. ahh...mungkin benar. asasnya tidak kukuh. maka runtuh la ia. biarlah. kenangan itu tetap berharga.
6 bulan saja lagi aku berpeluang menghirup udara bumi asing ini, insyAllah. musim bunga paling indah telah berlalu. musim panas sudah separuh berlalu. akan datang musim luruh yg penuh kemungkinan. dan berganti musim salju yg membeku hati. ahh... beku sudah hati ini sejak berlalu nya musim bunga lepas..

walau mungkin kita bertemu lagi.. kehidupan aku di bumi asing ini tak kan sama lagi.
aku pasti bandar selatan ini tak kan ku jejaki lagi. tak mahu aku kembali ke bandar selatan yg indah ini. biarlah kenangan di sini berhenti saat aku meninggalkan bandar selatan ini. bandar selatan ini menjadi saksi. tawa ku. tangis ku. senyum ku. marah ku. ahh indahnya hidup ku di bandar selatan ini. hidup yang indah bagai srikandi di bandar selatan ini. Srikandi Selatan.
6bulan lagi. kehidupan indah di bumi asing ini akan berakhir. aku tinggalkan hati hati yg pernah menyentuh hidup ini. terima kasih. kerana menemani kehidupan aku di bumi asing ini.
bumi asing ini akan terus menjadi saksi. aku tangisi pemergian ku...pada musim salju akan datang. hadiahkan aku musim salju yg putih bersih. hadiahkan aku musim salju indah di bumi asing ini. tangiskan aku salju... temani pemergian ku di musim salju yg membeku... ahh hati ku akan terus membeku walau musim salju akan berlalu...
ah mengapa gundah? musim salju akan tiba bila sampai gilirannya. kini giliran musim panas. walau sudah separuh berlalu... matahari masih bersinar, memancar terang dan hangat... walau kini sinar matahari tidak lagi seceria dulu... tidak lagi seindah musim panas lepas. hargai lah sinaran matahari yg kini memancar...kerana mungkin... musim panas tak kan tiba lagi... matahari tidak akan bersinar lagi...

The Marjon Experience
thats what its all about. Living and studying in MARJON. it has been great and all. bumpy sometimes..but still great! hehehe..=p i love it... totally!!
ok, the reason i havent update my blog is because i was too busy laying around doing nothing... i woke up late. took one hour to actually make a move to the library. borrowed 10 books, read 2 pages. thats what i did really. yesterday, i had one hour literature lesson, and the whole afternoon was spend defrosting the fridge so i can stock up on ice cream.. hehe.. and since i lost weight unintentionally, summer would be perfect to gain it back by stuffing my self with ice creamss!!! YEAYYYY!!! [not that im not thankful...just im too bloody broke to buy a whole new wardrobe! i drop 2 dress sizes!!!!!] (*_*)
and since i was busy yesterday, i totally forgot about my *Bloody* Dissertation Supervison with Liz!!! its scheduled at 2pm..but it wasnt until 7pm or something i suddenly remembered about it!!! ohh my God..how can i forgot about it? definately not a good start for me! huhuhu... anyway, i got it reschedule next week. and to make up to it..i have to do a little bit more than what she expect me to show.. God..more work?? burn burn my summer man....drown!!! might as well spend the whole time in the library..huhu.. bila masa plakk aku nak berjemur nih??? T_T well, although i am too dark to have a tan...hehehe...i still need to experience the summer..its the Marjon Experience. heh!
im working as Student Ambassador again tomorrow. today has been a very educational experience for me. loads of great ideas and stuff for my profesional development like drama, team building, games, leadership etc etc. and for personal development too.. i bet this will look great on my CV! =) and i get paid!!! hehe..no... no shopping!! all will go to my Europe Tour Fund!
ohh i cant believe its actually just another 2 weeks before im off to Europe! hehe...cant wait!!

ok... i got to work on my Literature Folio! weekends will be spent house hunting with abang ijan.. hehe.. very important u know..i need to have my say [since abah is not around, and sal wouldnt mind anything really, and linda is working..] if i like the place or not...cos the geng will be spending quite great deal of time there...ok so we need TV with satelite or freeview, internet, central heating plis.. hot water... hmm.. ohh microwave, huge fridge plis...stock up food! what else do we need.. hmm definately huge living room...with loads of cushions so i can always hit u guys wit it!! and plis buy a bean bag...i love bean bags!!!!! [ni sapa nak dok rumah dia nih?? aku ke dia?? hehehe... T_T]

my summer havent really start and 2 of my usual chat buddies are going home. [Bubye... have a safe journey!!] the end to my chatting days. they are not going to be online as much as now. waa... busannya... korang dah takde... T_T

isnt it beautiful???
ahhh winning..i love the feeling..
i bet wit a friend. no money involve but on interesting geeky things. we agreed to bet on germany vs sweeden. so i said, germany is going to win. and he said its going to be sweeden. huhu...nervous weh! bcos sweeden played good game with england. mati la aku kalau mamat tuh menang..huhu..
anyway, the deal is,
if he wins, i have to write 200 words testimonials in his friendster profile saying good things about him for 7 days! the problem is...i dont even know him personally..he is a friend to a friend. uhuk...mati la aku! [abah....tolong....huhuhu]

if i win..he has to write 1400words to be published in this blog. he can write anything but i must agree to it. it must be good. hehe...i have a reputation to hold ya... [ye la sangat tuh..... huhuhu...] anyway, he used to blog too...but he stop sometime ago, atas alasan its easier to read than write. [adoi la...mmg la...huhuhu...] so im getting him to write again.
jangan lari aaa.....hehehe....u soooo owe me an entree now...
we both know its not easy to write. most of the times, all this writings are just mindless ramblings. only once in a while, when the mood strike, and the inspiration sparks, i can write something with loads of feelings and thought. those who inspire me to write shines the most. thank you very much. it does not matter what is our relationship. good or bad. if u inspire me to write, u shine the most in my life. so thank you! =)
however, this mindless rambling of mine actually has a big fan. [apa daa...this so called english teacher's grammar.... gagal...] i have just been told. so to my secret admirer, thank you for reading. im flattered! =)

My Official Summer Post!
ok ok...my holiday does not really start until i submit that Literature folio. but what the heck. i dont plan to wait till that moment to start my summer! hehehe... although its going to be lonely lonely summer because usual source of entertainment is going back to Malaysia T_T ...you will be badly miss...

then, after Sal's return from europe tour. fun fun activities will fill my days. antaranya, im sure if the weather is going to be sunny sunshine there will be alot of picnics, sun bathings, barbeque, one-day trips, hang outs, movie nites, lazy days, eat like pigs days,etc etc hehehe..
then phase 2 of my Europe Conquest: SPAIN
31st of August- 13th of September 2006. i will fly to Granada, Spain, 2 weeks will be spend touring the cities of Spain. the itenary will be brief later by the tour leader, Suraya. ohh thanks soo much!!! that will end wit me flying back to London from Barcelona.

its going to be the summer im going to remember my whole life. its going to be the best summer ever! its going to be Summer 0f 2006!
i will be back in class by the 18th of Sept 2006. and i will be busy finishing my Bloody Dissertation.. T_T [im going to read and read and read until i puke...]and enjoying my final months in UK. i will be back in Malaysia around Christmas... [hopefully after!]

yup. exam is over.
24 hours ago. i found out the that oreos and hobo decided to stop blogging. T_T yeah sad. it was much fun reading their blogs. but life must go on. ;)
after an hour in disbelief, i manage to continue study without much distraction. heh! eQin. u see u know u can do it. it needs a little bit more determination than u usually give. so from 3pm yesterday, non stop studying till half past 1 in the morning. 10 hours of continuos studying?? wow!!
heh. and at 11am this morning, i believe i studied too much. hence, the next time i remember never to studied that much ya.. (^_^)
and when i reached home... latest news: the list is out. i was like....huh?? what list??? what? where? ohh...the dissertation supervisor list is out. and so im officially Liz Robbins new bestfriend. she is going to breath down my neck. ohh she is going to make me read and read until i puke. T_T was hoping i could get katy salisbury. but yeah...Liz is fine.. as long as its not Tracey..huhuhu.. fobia dia reject aku nyer assignment tak abis lagi!! T_T
ok. and that was that. hmm selain itu.. i also promise to tell whats my plan for summer, which im going to save for the next post cos now i am going to watch the highlights for all the world cup game i missed while i was busy studying for exam..

Julie will love me to the max if it comes true. im sure Sal will too.. and Linda...and Susu too! I dont think Sudi would mind. and the others? yeah...they wont mind i guess. exam on tuesday. hmm...its not really an exam. its a seen exam. well more like timed essay. u see we have to choose to read an article [4 choices given]. read the article and loads of other stuff relevant to the article. and then..on the day. we are allowed to bring in a copy of the article and a page of A4 notes. guidelines given. take a seat in the room. wait for the instruction. then, critically analyse the article and write as much as u can in 90mins. [wohooo one full game! can i critically analyse the England vs TNT game instead????] after 90mins, its all over!
current status: i have choose and read the article. anything beyond that is still on tentative.
Folio on Literature in classroom. yesh. another 3000words equivalent folio. working on poems, stories etc etc for children. lesson plans, materials development etc etc. due date: 7th of July. my plan to submit it on 1st of July. so i can enjoy the 2weeks of plymouth sunshine before im off for my europe tour.

the day we went back to Malaysia and tour around the world in 80min
and im injured. after the england game yesterday. ceh...macam aku plakk yg main. anyway, it fuckingly hurts like hell... but im hanging on...i dont really mind. bcos im drowned in the A4. the only concern is..hmm im taking a longer time to walk from my room to my fav table at the library. so might as well stay home. heh! Dugaan buat kita.
Ya Allah, kuatkan hati kami. Seluruh cohort kami. 123 hati-hati kami.
Sejak berlepas ke luar negara, UK/Aussie/NZ, berita pemergian insan2 tersayang ke rahmatullah tidak putus diterima. Dugaan buat kami di perantauan. Isnin lepas ayah seorang dari kami telah pergi meninggalkan dunia ini. Doaku buat dia. Tabahkan hati mu. Moga roh Ayahanda mu dicucuri rahmat.
Buat sahabat-sahabat yg telah kehilangan insan tersayang, ketahuilah berita duka diterima dengan hati yg sebak. Bukan aku saja, malah oleh semua. Hanya doa yg mampu ku berikan. Moga hati2 kita tabah. Tenang meneruskan perjuangan jauh beribu batu dari meraka tercinta. Yang pergi tetap pergi. Yang tinggal harus terus hidup. Menunggu waktu.

around the world in 80 mins!
yes...i have been touring around the world in 80 mins.
where i have been to? loads of different places.
From Plymouth UK,
i went to Malaysia. Let me warn u that this country is very HOT and HUMID! i almost collapse of dehydration. huhu.. it was soo hot till i feel like fainting. heh!
then i went to South Africa. tooo hot as well. but i like their so comel African hut.
then i went to India. same case. so couldnt stay any longer there.
then i went to Californian valley. a bit cooler. but a little dry. nothing much too see...only shrubs.
then i went to the mediterranian islands. a little cooler than previous. definately better.
but it was all tooo hot...=p
so i decided to get back to the Super Shiny Sunshine England..
Its so sunny today, but at least the wind from the English Channel is blowing...so chill wind.
yeah they say the English weather is terrible. well honestly, i dont care! i dont care if it rains. foggy. chilly. and cold. i complain. but i dont care.
and i love autumn colours. yellow. orange. brown. beautiful.
and i love winter. white snow. totally love it. and i love my white winter jacket. Hooch! wicked!
and i love spring. loads of beautiful flowers blooming. tulips. tulips. my favourite.
and i love summer. sunny! but definately not hot. i like.. hehe.. reason to eat ice creams!
hehe...its summer now. im out to enjoy my Cornish Ice Cream. yummy!

seriously. i only stayed in the dome for an hour. but it was too hot. we couldnt stand a minute longer.

and today...after my Subject Knowledge Folio review, me and jules [ek not x-eyed-jules ya....its Julie..] decided to have a study picnic instead of spending times in the library. and so we did. here are some pictures of me and Jules...and later Sudi joined us...after dgn maha hebatnye berjalan kaki ke ASDA sensorang..huhu... sorry the date kat camera was wrong. its taken today. on the 6th of June 2006. heh.

you are the reason...
apart from the food i love so much...and mom, dad, sis, and my 2 big brothers, my sis-in-law and my soon-to-be-born niece or nephew [yet to be discovered]..here is another reason why i miss home. T_T
Fazrin is special case. it was so hard for me to actually win her. She is the last sister from the F sisters. when she was born, i was in KL, and i didnt had the chance to actually babysit her when she was still a baby, unlike her other four sisters, until the last 4 months before i fly to UK. In the end, im contented as she will always run to me whenever she sees me! and the last time i talk to Fazrin, she couldnt believe she is talking to me. my fault for not calling frequently. huhu.. When i tell her its me 'Hello...Adik..Makcik Nurul ni..' she was like 'Achik Nurul takde...dia skolah jauh...' so i asked..'adik rindu achik nurul tak?' 'RINDU...achik nurul tak balik..dia skolah' ....waaaa.....ye la ye la...nanti achik balik la....huhu...
i cant believe i miss them that much! huhu..its school holidays now in Malaysia. 2 weeks i have been told. so my cousins who are more like my sisters went back to Kuantan. Kak Zura from KL with her daughter and 2 sons and Kak Fariza [not my Dr. Fariza aa...] from Kedah with her 2 sons [one whom i cant wait to meet....Adnan is his name...baby eddy!! hehe..] and very shy daughter.. hehe.. not to forget my forever fabulous F-sisters, Farihin, Farah, Fatihah, Farhanis, and Fazrin who are now in Bidor, Perak.. and last but not least Audrin.. although im pretty sure she dont know who i am as she was like 4months old when i left M'sia.. she is super comel in the last picture that was send to me.huhu...hantar la gambar lagi.. i mishh them so much!!
come school holidays, when all the teachers get some peace without the kids...i get my teacher training with them..huhu.. speciallising in class control. percayalah! when they get together, they can drive even the very experience teacher to the wall... huhu. a trip to the beach is all it takes to keep them happy.

im not the first linguist in the family but all the other linguist studied English as our major.. but this boy...boleh cakap german i tell u...jepun pun boleh!! hmm the best laugh ever when he screams 'Kari Sebastian' till the whole kedai mamak was looking at us. what u say? he was reffering to the Kari Ketam we are having for lunch. u know Sebastian? the crab from The Little Mermaid? hmm...tu la dia.. too much TV... huhu... tadi i called home, dapat la cakap ngan dia.. apa dia cakap pun aku tak paham. yg aku dengar 'Hello, Makcik Nurul...akjhakfiejgtkhaeautwhte' then his mom take the phone away, huhu 'Dah dia cakap german plak..' . then abang dia [Year one this year] plak..'Hello Makcik Nurul...sihat? belajar rajin2, sekian Assalamualaikum'. huh? all in one breath? tak sempat aku nak jawab apa2 pun.. ishh budak ni cam bagi ucapan plakk..haha... then his mom explain he was chosen to be a debator at school. aahh no wonder la. hehe dahsyat tol nephews aku ni..nasib baik la comel!!!

ok first issue
My dissertation progress. ok i can now proceed with the little research i wanted to do to back up my discussion later. i havent really let u guys know what im doing rite? thats because i might change my mind or my lecturer might ask me to change it as it being unsuitable to do. so now that everything is decided and i am very happy to proceed...cant wait.. hehe.. ohh by the way, for the next 6months or so..i will be working on 'Malaysian Primary English Textbook: Evaluation and Materials Development'. thats the title really. so im currently im reading about second language acqusition and implication on Classroom practice. im also reading on Materials development ie. coming up with teaching materials for language learning in class. and it has got nothing to do with palstic, metal, aluminium, wood or wat so ever. huhu. so...wish me luck!

im broke! again! i bought my return ticket to Spain the other day. there goes my £60. and this afternoon, i just signed a cheque worth £450. broke. broke. broke. brokeback mountain. huhuhu.. dalam satu minggu eQin leh blanja lebey dari £600!! [waaa....lu manyak kaya aaa... huhu.. lepas ini lu makan apa?? ini macam aaa... lu leh makan itu buku la.. itu botol perfume lu boleh kasi rebus buat sup..itu baju sama jeans pun lu leh kasi masak...bikin jacket potato ka.. bla bla bla bla... ] huhu T_T silap ari bulan aku buat kot...

i had fun today. hehe. last few weeks, i asked a friend to look for my birthday. im pretty sure i told him already, bcos i know his. on that particular day, i get to know that he dont know when is my birthday, and since i know and remembered his, i asked him to search for the answer...and i want a birthday pressie this year! haha..its a bit unfair really [but what do i care??? hehehe]. the reason, i remember his birthday is bcos its the same day as my brother's birthday. of course i remember rite? hehe... anyway, to make up to the unfairness, i gave him some clues.. i even left clues everywhere for him.. adoi la...kalau ko tak jumpa gak...u r not looking dude!! paling senang dan paling obvious.. cari la kat friendster. huhu...bersepah2 jawapan... cari jangan tak cari! hehe.. [seronok torture orang nih rupanya..hehe..] anyway, disebabkan ko tgh exam..kita sambung lagi lepas ko abis exam ek..hehe..[demi adiah besday....aku sanggup tunggu oo...].

orang cakap kena gigit hantu. tapi aku tau...its just me. weird, out of nowhere bruises appear again. usuals. kat kaki. and judging from my bed position and the heater. i think i might slam my leg too hard to the heater, hence causing the bruises. apart from that, my i-dont-know-what- happen body are more and more prone to bruises, cuts and scratchs. adoila...sejak bila la aku manja sangat nih??huhu...

next tuesday, aku ada meeting oo...aku pun tak tau meeting ngan sapa. tapi yg pasti, kul 9.30pagi, im having a short briefing wit Rod Bolitho, my Asst Dean. huhu.. i bet it might be important. so what should i wear that day...pakai baju kurung nak tak?? hehe... that might be a good idea. after all i have been looking for a reason to wear that baju kurung mom kirim for me. i actually like that baju kurung. hehe... the exact colour for summer! perfect!
hmm tu je kot...tadi rasa cam banyak...tapi dah la...malas nak pk..

*kisah klasik*
hmm.....tadi pegi ASDA lagi. aku baru jek pegi ASDA isnin lepas..ari tu abis puluh2 pounds gak arr. beli makanan. memenuhi nafsu makan aku yg sememangnya mahal nih. Ari ni aku pegi lagi. ngan Sudi n Julie. beli gak arr stock makan-makan aku tapi ada sesuatu yg lain aku beli. aku beli CD.. bukan DVD tau.. murah jek. 2kpg CD cuma £3.97. CD lagu arr...kat sini tak jual VCD. huhuhu.. percaya tak kalau aku cakap aku beli CD lagu oldies. lagu zaman2 Nat King Cole.. Frank Sinatra.. Doris Day, The Drifters, The Carpenters..etc etc.... hehe...kalau aku tanya Mama pun lom tentu dia tau.. ehek!
minat aku terhadap lagu2 oldies nih harus dipersalahkan kepada abang aku.. huhu.. dia la yg ajar aku dgr lagu lama2 nih. tak ingat la plak sejak bila...tapi yg pasti aku tersangat la dahsyat nyer mendengar lagu2 oldies ni masa aku kat KL.
lagu klasik nih ada kisah klasik nyer....aku sekarang tgh busy, wat assignments, exam, bla bla bla.. tetiba terkenang kisah klasik masa kat KL dulu..
aku sangat la bertuah nyer.. sepanjang aku dok kat IPBA [kolej aku kat KL], aku dapat bilik A. Bilik A tu kecik je...so aku dok sorang la. takde roomate. kalau ada kang, kompem roomate aku akan gila selepas 3 bulan. so kira ok la. yg bestnya bilik aku tuh ada bilik air sendiri. so aku tak share ngan sapa2, kecuali ada org nak tumpang arr. anyway, disebabkan aku dok sensorang aku slalu arr buat ikut suka aku. melalak sesuka ati..dan sebagainya... tapi cerita nya bermula begini...
masa tu aku tgh ada assignment gak.. tak ingat arr assignment apa. dalam ingatan aku cuma nampak buku dan kertas2 yg bertaburan di atas katil, di bawah katil, di atas lantai, dan... er..bawah lantai takde. sbb bawah lantai aku ialah rumah warden aku. so, sambil2 study tuh..aku pasang arr seleksi lagu2 oldies kegemaran aku seperti Corina, Knock 3 times, Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree, Yesterday once more, ehh banyak lagi la..macam2 ada.. aku ada 3 ke 4 CD masa tu. tapi seme CD2 tu tinggal kat mesia..huhu. aku plak tgh dok atas katil..berkelubung dalam selimut ajaib aku. lebey kurang cam ni la rupa aku..tapi ni bukan aku aaa... ni 'kawan penulis'...kawan aku arr...[hehe mati aku kalau dia tau aku publish gambo dia..ehek..]

masa tu tgh baca artikel untuk wat assignment. sambil2 tu aku nyanyi2 arr.. hehe.. maka menjerit2 la aku ni menyanyi. masa tu jam baru jek melewati jam 11mlm. so baru jek la abis curfew [aku ada curfew ok...huhu..hampeh tol]. tetiba ada org bukak pintu bilik aku.. aku yg sedang melalak nih harus la terkejut kan...
'warggghhh!!'
'ya Allah...buat apa ni?' sambil melihat sekeliling bilik aku yg tak nampak lantai tuh..
'Study madam...ada assignment..'
'ohh sorry...just checking if everybody is in..' smiled [more like grin really] then door closed..
huhu...warden aku tgh buat round rupanye. nasib baik la dia tak cakap pape.. dengan keadaan bilik yg cam tongkang pecah tu, dgn lagu apa tah yg tgh main masa tu, dgn aku yg tengah melalak sambil berbungkus tuh..
saya malu!!!! sbb saya slalu buat muka cam baik depan madam..hehe maklum la..ketua dorm. so kena arr buat muka cam baik. skali caught dlm keadaan seperti itu..huhu...haru seh..
tapi...aku bet dia pun tak tau lagu yg aku tgh nyanyi masa tu. sbb dia buat dek jek.. lagipun dia tuh modern sket. mana layan lagu oldies nih. hehe..
aku sangat la bersyukur that paticular warden yg buat round malam tuh..bukan warden2 lain.. kalau tak harus la aku terpaksa mendengar ceramah lewat malam selama sejam dua..huhu T_T ..antara topik yg mungkin dibincangkan.. kekemasan bilik, peranan ketua dorm, peraturan selepas 11malam, dan topik2 lain yg berkaitan. mungkin akta 174 juga akan dibincangkan.
anyway, itulah kisah klasik yg ditinggalkan hampir 2 tahun lalu.. dan tahun depan aku akan kembali dengan kehidupan di IPBA. ohh curfew jam 11mlm...
apa la yg aku merepek nih. huhu...lama dah aku tak tulis post dalam BM. takde apa nak cerita pun sebenarnya. tu je la. ok la. adios.
