di saat aku tgh banyak assignment..

ahaks... kenapa ekk aku slalu nak tulis blog hari khamis, semalam nak tulis sebenarnya, tapi teringat nak kena hantar reading log hari ni, tak jadi plak nak tulis. maybe my brain is actively working on thursday? it could be...takpe nanti aku track activity aku on thursday...bleh buat observation ni. mesti makcik Liz tu bangga ngan aku!
kawan2 aku ada kat blakang umah, tgh beriadah...main volley. aku malas lah..dulu aku ada gak ikut, pastu lebam2 badan aku...maklumlah anak manja. hehe! kat m'sia kalau waktu camni (2.30pm), aku pasti semua pelajar IPBA akan masuk tido...afternoon nap! duk kat UK ni, siap bleh main volley lagi...
skarang ni, aku memang banyak keje, assignment, observation, portfolios, and 2hour paper exam. banyak, aku tau...tapi keje yg sepatutnya aku buat last weekend tak buat pun lagi, minggu ni kena buat, lagi pun cuti 3hari cos of bank holiday. si nenek rock cathy tu plak bikin aku lagi relax je...salah dia arr tension2 dalam kelas..aku ni bukan bleh tgk org tension2. lagi aku tak buat ada... by the way aku nak bgtau semua orang, yg phrase 'tau, takpe!' tu, tak jalan ngan aku... ahakss...aku tau, tapi blum tentu aku buat...heheh..
Tadi tgk aku nyer exam results yg last semester.. hehe..tak sangka aku leh maintain results aku walaupun masa sem1 aku sangat ler baiknye, tekunnye menyalin nota.. memberi tumpuan masa kuliah, tak tuang tutorial..dan semua yg sebaliknya masa sem2..duduk blakang masa kuliah(i miss my throne in main hall), main msg time kuliah, tak gi tutorial, esp learning support (kelas lain aku gi tau) hehe..talking bout quality not quantity...that proves that i can do it,if i put my mind to it..and seperti biasalah, aku je yg malas....
ever since i was a kid, reading have always be my favorite past time activity. it seems now, i have out grown it, i stil have 4 and half novels yg blum baca. dont talk about wallace, brumfit, nunan, or hicks. lagi le aku tak mau baca... itu arr aku ni pelik ar, lagi org suruh lagi aku tak buat, kalau dia tak presurre mesti aku baca. rebelious gak aku ni ek??? lagi org suruh, lagi aku buat dek je... nanti arr aku baca.. bila tak tau..yg pasti sebelum exam!
k lah..ilmiah sungguh blog entree kali nie..lain kali aku tulis journal plak lah! im trying to be a reflector learner...all the best to myself!! -sounds so pathetic!-

Kenangan terhebat abad ini..

April,21 2005, Marjon. Sekumpulan pelajar TESL di luar negara mengadakan sambutan Maulidur Rasul di perkarangan rumah meraka.
Seramai 25 orang pelajar TESL tajaan KPM yang sedang menyambung pengajian di College St. Mark and St. John, Plymouth, mengambil inisiatif sendiri mengadakan sambutan Maulidur Rasul sempena mengingati hari keputeraan Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. Sambutan yg sederhana itu diisi dengan bacaan selawat, jamuan ringan (ringan? perkataan ini perlu di ganti...), aktiviti riadah(main bola yg baru beli kat ASDA), solat Maghrib berjemaah dan bacaan Yassin. Sambutan tersebut turut dihadiri oleh kawan2 bukan Islam dan 2 orang pelajar tajaan MARA yg turut belajar di kolej tersebut. Paling menarik, sambutan ini diadakan di perkarangan rumah akibat ketiadaan ruang yang boleh menampung jumlah pelajar yg ramai dalam satu2 masa. Jamuan juga diadakan secara piknik di bawah pokok. Aktiviti dan usaha seperti ini perlu dipuji (cepat2..sape nak puji!!!).
Walaupun mereka berada jauh dari tanah air dan dalam kesibukan menuntut ilmu (sibuk..assignment tgh bnyk ni!!!) masih sempat mengingati hari kebesaran Islam. Dato Hishamuddin, Menteri Pelajaran berkata, bakal guru seperti inilah yg hendak kita lahirkan, yg bukan sahaja diiktiraf dari segi akademik (sebab tu ler dihantar ke obersea...)malah tidak melupakan pembangunan rohani dan jasmani. Pengarah IPBA,(sibuk je nak enterframe) yg melakukan twining programme dengan Marjon, melahirkan rasa syukur apabila mendengar bahawa pelajar yang dilahirkan IPBA mengamalkan sikap wasatiah.
pergghhh kat Malaysia tak gini...tapi itu lah yg syok nyer..benda yg tak leh buat kat malaysia ler kena buat kat sini. gambar bulan depan baru bleh upload..bulan ni dah penuh..sori arr..k c u later

tak sedar plak..

tak sedar yek...dah 2bulan aku kat bumi peti sejuk (sophie, 2005) england ni..sekejap je rasanya. Sakit rumah tak? tak lah..biasa je, kalau aku rindu pun, pasar malam je kot...rindu nak beli rojak, murtabak, mee goreng, apam balik, sedap tau..the other day or should i say last month?, in Martyn's class, he asked us to find a methaphore of a classroom, i forgot how muchout of 25 methaphore, is connected to food..one of it is mine...a kitchen. he is amaze to find out how food is closely connected to our life, m'sian life. Vysia came out with this statement 'food is very important to us, and even our festival is like food festival' which i think is very true. take for example Hari Raya, we have lemang, rendang, kuah kacang, ketupat, and thousands kinds of other delicasies, tu belum cerita ikut negeri lagi...laksa, nasi beriayani, etc etc...Chinese New Year? not so sure tapi...sampai muak2 lah makan buah limau tu... Deepavalli? maruku, vadae, tosai..pergghhh..best nyer. dah arr tu...
Was it yesterday or the day before...i was reading The Star online, found this article bout Hishammudin was saying about seasonal issue, like the heavy school bag and infrastructure. towards the end of this article, a girl from kedah was pleading the government to help her because she cant go to school as she is using a wheelchair. im not suprised as our school is as high as 4 storeys building.how can we expect the unable student to stay in school? and i found it quite interesting that only now we realise such situation. another thing, i realise that children here, they dont have homework and they dont have to bring books or even pencils to school. there are no textbook, or workbook..they only have math file, literacy file and a couple of other books and they leave it in class. k arr tu je arr..nanti aku pk lagi..

im still alive...unbelieable!!!

peh..hebat arr..its already thursday and i survive..i finish my home work,i borrow two articles and i didnt even finish reading it but i finish reading shopaholic and sister which is 351 pages in two days but i could not finish a 3page- article in a week?? huh..talk about lazy and couldnt be bothered. my highlight of the week would be going and come back to school on my own... i went to school by taxi and it cost me £7.40 and i have to take a bus home. so i hop on this bus, and i say to the bus driver : Derriford hospital please, how much would that be? that pakcik keep looking at me and finally he said 80pence. thank you. i wait for my ticket and find a seat. i check my ticket and to my amazement it written there CHILD-single journey-£0.80... huh??? do i look like a child? i am 20 you know...maybe because i was wearing a dark blue skirt with a matching jumper, that pakcik tought that i am a nearby school girl..no wonder it only cost me 80pence. i was thinking more like £1.50 or anywhere near that...wait till i claim it from INTED. hope they didnt laugh....cant wait till i talk to terry..all right now i have a new way of writing my journal..that is doing in the middle of class when i have anything to say...and im loving it. oh yeaa..one last question: why do this english people really look down to us...i mean..do they think that we dont know anything. talk about phonic or morpheme or syntax..say it bruner or bandura..even maslow..we know!!! well not to the back of our hand but its not alien to us...dont think that we came here without preparation.daaa?? we do you know!!!! c u in the next entree...take care then...

huhuhuhuuhu.........today is saturday and tommorow is Sunday and the next day is Sunday....oppsss Monday...kan best kalau cuti lama sket lagi...home work blum siap lagi ni..tak sedar diri btul!!! journal tak buat2..entree blog buat plak!!! hehehe...apa nak jadi tau aku ni..huh??? ntah ler...exam coming in may..portfolio lagi..tu blum crita assignment!!! eqin!!!!!!!!! bgn lambat..asyik duk ngadap laptop...tapi keje tak siap gak....kalau tak de laptop, bg alasan susah nak buat keje, tapi kalau ada..duk main internet...tau takpe? tau...tapi buat gak..ni yg susah ni..sedar ada keje, tapi main gak..payah ehh!!! k..ni final...sebelum tido mlm ni, journal mesti siap...untuk 5 minggu ni...tulis je la pape pun...goreng je..jgn hangus dah arr..pas tu esok, bgn pagi...lepas subuh takleh tido..siap kan portfolio school visit, skali ngan divider cantik2...n kemas bilik sket..pastu kemas buku..

fuh??? harap2 jadi arrr...stick wit it eqin!!!! susah gak tak de org nak marah aku ni ek???? dulu ada gak ummi...windu ummi.......mulai minggu depan aku akan pegi library, baca artikel...n buku yg dia suruh tu...at least satu artikel and satu buku seminggu!!! sapa rajin nak tolong pastikan aku buat, angkat tangan!!!! u r most welcome....just email me..i really need support..=( cam budak2? memang pun... iam childish...huh...sunyi gak duk kat sini ek...ada member, tu yg 3org tu...tapi masing2 buat keje sendiri gak..tak de org nak layan kerenah aku ni...bosan gak kenkadang.

1st day-27 march- trafalgar square, buckingham palace, st james park, big ben, london eye-tgk jer tak naik lagi..., then pegi tower bridge, then pegi st. katherine dock...lawa gak..thats where i took the picture of me n the dancing willow. then we went to the picadilly circus, where the famous big screen is situated..the we went back to m'sian hall coz muka mc woo dah cam cuka dah...our adventure begins when sal tertinggal train..n masa tu baru je kena tinggal ngan en amran coz he has to go somewhere else n we hav to go back on our own...takut gak..nasib baik jumpa jln balik..

2nd day-28march- we went to paddington area where we found mara house, mawar restaurant n a souvenier shop...shopping!!!!!!! then we went to hyde park..its a beautiful day, very sunny...so org putih duk berjemur..yg kitaorg ni sibukk nak beli payung...then later that day, we went to izrie's place..cook dinner there and makan...

3rd day-29march- we went shopping at oxford street..bored with the expensive stuff..we go to a place more posh...harrods!! its extremely huge..masuk tu ade bnyk2 bilik...ade gak barang yg mampu di beli..woo ngan sal beli roti..£1 sorang...saya?? nanti lah..tunggu saya kaya sket nanti saya shopping kat situ..mlm tu kitaorg kuar jln2 kat trafalgar square...tapi gambar tak jadi sgt sebab bateri camera low..

4th day-30 march- went to Portobello Road..didnt expect much there sebab tempat tu happening on saturdays je. but we found a m'sian cafe called Makan. then realising there is nothing else to do..we hop on a double decker bus from nowhere going to nowhere..the only thing we know is the bus number.. number 23. then we went back to m'sian hall to meet Siti Nurhaliza.. saje nak nyibuk ngan orang lain..nk tgk sket muka2 org m'sia kat UK....night outing number two...makan ice cream kat depan royal albert hall..ntah, apa gila budak2 ni..sejuk2 tu makan ice cream..habis satu bucket!!!then sambung naik bas...buat keje giler lagi..sampai ke area westminister, big ben, westminister abbey..then jalan kaki ke tebing river thames..sebab nak tgk london eye..its beautiful..and its raining...

5th day-31stmarch London eye here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my dream is about to become reality.. i can still remember how i shouted on the plane when i saw the london eye for the first time..it cost £12.50 to ride the thing..unfortunately its not a sunny day..so we hav restricted view..still it was cool..then we went to china town...nak cari kicap!!!! Kicap cap Kipas Udang to be exact..beli sampai 4botol. ...groceries is alot cheaper in london. and its much easier to find m'sian product..jumpa belacan made in penang..beli tepung goreng pisang adabi-nak buat apa? nanti pk..beli dulu..mlm pegi shopping kat area bayswater..tetiba abg m'sian hall call...dpt tiket konsert siti free...tiket mahal lak tu.. ape lagi...beli tiket balik 2hb!!! esok kita pegi tgk konsert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6th day-1Apr...mlm tadi tido lambat sebab tgk movie the ring..diaorg la..saya tak...takut ehh!!! so bgn pun dah tgh hari..hari ni nak try pegi cari Perfect Fried Chicken..kot2 lah boleh ngubat rindu kat KFC..rindu coselaw ngan mashed potato .. GAGAL!!!! tak boleh lawan KFC...tanya2 jugak..kot2 lah ade KFC and McD halal kat london ni...seme pun cakap takde...konsert start kul 7pm so kul 6pm dah kena pegi..bukan jauh pun..jln kaki pun bleh..bukan peminat siti pegi tgk..tiket plak free...so masuk tu..tak de perasaan je. konsert tu abis around kul 11pm.. balik2..tido!! esok kena bgn pagi...nak balik dah!!!

7th day- 2nd Apr- around 11am dah kena check out..so barang kitaorg tumpang kat m'sian hall.. guna habis2 kemudahan krajaan dah sediakan..tak baik membazir!! .. pegi mkn..shopping2..duk kat UK ni slalu jer buat charity...rajin plak...beli buku kat charity shop...murah!!! baju pun bnyk...cantik2!! around 3pm we head back to m'sian hall.. our bas is on 5.15pm. plan: take the famous London's Black cab....our journey home start and London: we will be back in summer..ada org offer duk kat umah dia..ni yg best ni...!

dont know what else to tell about london though...another thing i realise while i was there is..it is extremely easy to find halal meat or halal restaurant. its every where...while here in plymouth there is no halal restaurant in the city centre and only one shop that sell halal meat. im gonna miss Chopstix- halal chinese restaurant esp its fried rice with chicken in black been sauce atau dlm bahasa melayu...ayam masak tauchu.....

hope to hear from everyone soon..its been a lonely week this week...nothing much to do except homework. im expecting busier weeks after this holidays..with lots of lectures and tutorials..

london in 7 days

hi there, here what happen in london, i really enjoy the trip though my purse didnt. i spend more than 270pound. i will write more details soon and upload my pictures very2 soon..here the start..

27march - bus ride from plymouth to london-arrive in victoria coach station, london. take tube to queensway.. meet encik amran-our tour guide for the day, walk to m'sian hall...mkn kat m'sian hall...air sirap yg tak rasa cam sirap...visit all london's best in one day thanks to en. amran-our efficent tour guide and thanks as well for the intensive tutorial on how to use the london tube. owe him one!!!

28march- kluar jln2 pegi cari accomodation utk hari2 seterusnya.. abis satu ari..pegi mkn kat umah Izrie who is studying in Imperial College London, siap kena masak lagi..thanks for the beras...and for walking us to the bus stop.

29march- pagi pegi jln kat oxford street then pegi harrods...balik and then check in to m'sian hall semula...night outing-trafalgar square!!!

30march- check in to hotel room, portobello road here we come..shop2 shop till u drop!!! mkn2...naik bas double decker till the end of the road...go back to m'sian hall to meet siti...an evening with siti!!!! night outing no 2-mkn aiskrim kat depan royal albert, then jln kat area westminister, london eye!!!!

31march-pegi naik london eye..best2!!! then terus pegi china town-cari kicap!!!! beli lah barangan buatan m'sia!!!! shop2 jln2...lepak kat mara hostel-tgk crita antu-thanks to azmie for everything-the tiket, the movie, and for walking us back in the middle of the night...

1apr- patut balik ari ni..tapi extend sebab nak tgk konsert siti... so 6pm pegi royal albert hall.. konsert siti start at 7.30pm till 11.00pm... balik arr..tido plak

2apr- kluar mkn, shop and lepak kat m'sian hall with abg zamil-receptionist m'sian hall-thanks sebab layan kerenah kitaorg..and thanks gak sebab tolong bukak pintu.. we will be back soon. 5.15pm start our journey back to plymouth. tak mau dah naik mega bus!!!!

london wont be the same without us- sal, woo, eqin and sophy- who rock london in seven days...
