I took a loooooooooooooong time to really plan my lessons. Usually these lessons are very effective as i really give it a good tought. I admit that I did not do it for every lesson, but I usually try to at least do it for 3 lessons a week for each of the class I am teaching.

Now that I am teaching 4 English classes make it even harder to do it. I took a looong time to get to know the children and get into a rhythm of teaching them. Switching classes 3weeks before exams are crazy stuff for me. I know I dont live in an ideal world, but I would like to make the world I am living an ideal place for me. I want to give the kids the best English lessons on a regular basis.

But when you have to deal with 2 fire drills, fire fighting demo, safety talk, rehearsals for Hari Anugerah, then Bengkel Menjawab Soalan in the evening ALL in the SAME day. It is hard for me to give my best to my kids.

This week is crazy mad. There are soooo much activities in one week that I have not done any teaching yet these week. NOT A SINGLE LESSON! I don't know what to write in my record book. I don't think I can teach tomorrow. I have prepared many handsout for the kids. and I feel soooo sad.


Teachers are told to teach the kids as if they are teaching their own kids. You dont have to tell me that. I know it. I have been teaching them because they are  my own kids. I am not a super woman. I cannot come home at 5pm everyday and be in school the next morning fresh, full of energy and life to teach these kids when I did not prepare anything for the lesson.

When the Year 1 kids are performing, the teachers who trained them are even more excited than the kids. Biasalahhh cikgu lebey dari budakk... huhu. Cikgu gaya lebih dari budak..hahaha. But thats how it should be! Teachers are required to do more than the kids are doing. They won't get 100% of what we do. So we have to show to them 200% of what they are supposed to do. Then they will get the 100% that we want to see.. Thats why teachers are so tired. We go all out to make sure the kids are good.

Thats why we can only work 5days a week, officially from 7.30am to 1.30pm. because we need those extra hours to recover from the day, to finish what we could not finish before 1.30pm, to plan for tomorrow, to get ahead of the kids, to make sure we are up fresh, full of energy, and life to run the show once again.

Teachers are actors and actresess. Good ones.

on Wednesday, I went out with my gorgeous bestfren Julie. We went sofa hunting and bought one gorgeous candy stripe Lshape sofa... uhhh cant wait to crash on it!!! heee then we went to minum2 at starbuck before going to our spa session. then lapar already and we have dinner at TGIF. yumm... then balik oredi. both of us just beli a couple of things...sooooooooooooooo unlike us!! hahaha

Then Thursday, I went out around 2.30..approaching KLCC at 3pm. I asked hubby if he is coming back late and he said yes. So I asked if i could go and jalan2 to Jalan TAR..only 2 things in my mind.. black velvet pouch and tudung!! after searching up and down..i couldnt find any black velvet pouch. So i turn my attention to my hard to find tudung. I go in and out, up and down the lane, nooks and crannies... haha.. and i found quite a few..but not really to my heart desire. i am now wearing the shawl with awning kind..not really the one in trend so its really hard to find. but nonetheless, i bought 10 new gorgeous ones...=D

almost 4.45pm i must avoid the back home rush. so i went straight to KLCC. one reason only to be there. Kak Dilla's Mark & Spencer panties. huhu..susah le kawan ngan orang2 posh nih... panties pun beli kat MS. aku pakai yang SMARTPRICE ASDA jek dulu...huhuhu... skarang pun beli kat JUSCO jek.

huhu So to kill time. and i have been dying to get my nails done. I went straight to Nail Parlour. Just my basic manicure n pedicure with buffing. The manucurist did say that I have to add RM 10 for buffing so I said yes. no problem. So did my pedicure first. Not much complain but sikit giler scrub walaupun pakai scrub St Ives. Then buat manicure..okay first she cut my nails too short. Okla..i didnt say to her not to cut too short. I just let go.. then she did my nails. She filed the wrong way and not to wat I said pun. I want square but she filed according to the original shape of my nails! WTH?????? dah file pun..so i just diam je la.

Mahal nak MAMPUS!!! huh...I dont mind paying if the results are gorgeous and satisfying. Better do it at BremMall in Kepong. RM 70 both Mani n Pedi plus buffing. The shine last for 3weeks ++ Thats the best so far. If not do it in Kuantan also Okay. Same price jugak.

I feel so cheated.

Then I wanted to have a glass of juice. I went to the foodcourt at level 2. Signature kot.. So i ordered a large glass of juice. Orange+Watermelon. Yummm rite??? Yeah....cos the price is RM10!!! weh..baik aku beli kat Juice Works kat bawah tuh... RM8.90 jek...lagi banyak buah campur2..

Oh cheated again!!!!! Marahnyer sayaaaaaaaaaaaa....

damn. i learn my lesson.

MAD

This is crazily MAD.

I am marking my year 4 exam papers. Paper 2 to be exact. About 5days including weekends before the exam, we did sentence construction exercise in class. I manage to stress the fact that it might come out in the exam regardless that I have no idea how the paper looks like. It turns out to be a few phrases that we did in class appear in the exam paper. Nonetheless these kids fail to use it correctly.

Her sister is a reading book. not just one kid. but more than 5 of them.
Ani listenig radio. again not just one kid.

In the exercise, the sentence was 'A woman is listening to the radio at home'. I did not dictate but i ask questions. Is it a man/woman/boy or girl? How many person? What is he/she doing? Where?  That is the base of simple sentences i teach these kids..

...i am not done yet. with the pictures, there are 10 helping words to help the kids. words like bedroom, listening, girls, reading, book etc etc.. kalau salin pun salah. aku nak marah kot mana tuh???? huhu..

now i understand why there is a learning objective in the Curiculum Spec which says

able to copy correctly.

apparently, it is hard to aquire the ability to copy correctly. T_T
this is driving me mad. grrrr....to top it up..the house next door is renovating. the sound of the workers drills is drilling a hole in my head!!! tension den!!!!

huhu..but to take it from one of my favourite lecturer back in IPBA. If one student make a mistake, he might misunderstood you. But if there are a few, you should ask yourself.

It came to a point.. when I was sitting at the balcony, I felt how I felt when I was in UK. It almost felt like Summer of '06. The feeling was almost the same.. guess, it was the thing that make me happy. The blissful life that I secretly adore..

Tomorrow is the SPM results. I am berdebar for my sister as if its my results. I am ssooooooo hoping she will get gud results and off she goes to some good college preferbly overseas ones. well so I can visit her every year!!! hehehe... UK would be lovely, but anywhere on earth would be just as great. hahahaha

Memperkasakan sekolah kebangsaan??? in your dreams... when all thats left are the teachers who come to school to gossip, kiss ass, go in and out of class for the sake of it etc etc.. when all the great minds are gone their own way..


I came to realise that soon, in less than 2 years time, our education system will be deprived of great teachers.. I know these people. I am [hope] one of them. all 120+ of us.

the fact:

I am at the balcony of a gorgeous big fancy hotel room with a broadband service facing the sea and pool waiting for my lunch ordered through room service.

Lucky me? i guess. never in my life i thought i would be able to enjoy such luxury. i have stayed in many hotels before, as my dad n mum always took us on a trip everywhere during school holidays. But the hotels where we stayed was purely for sleeping arrangment. definately not luxury. as a child i have been secretly wishing to be able to call the room service and order what i fancy to eat..although the charge will be outrages! the first time i was able to do that was on my honeymoon at Jerejak Resort and Spa.

never in my life i thought that will be the first to many more.. since then, i have been lucky enough to stay in posh hotels enjoying life little perks.

I have heard many stories about a life of a wife to Petronas Executive. I have met a few too.

one of the first story was told by Laylee. there was one teacher in her school where she did her practical who is so bergaya, with her gorgeous baju kurung, matching bag and shoes, her long necklaces adorning below her gorgeous tudung. Laylee said She sees me in the future like that..  

Mom told me that she was given a leather handbag by a friend who share the wifey-title as mine.

This particular story is my favourite. I have been wishing secretly that one day it will be me!

she is a regular teacher [like me!] she took unpaid leave to follow her hubby everywhere around the world. Australia, UK and now US! ohh dear...that i wouldnt mind.. I want THAT life! okay side-tracked.

Last Night's Dinner: Club Sandwich

Today's lunch: Nasi Goreng Istimewa.

but you see, I am all alone since morning. I watched TV and I surf the net all day.

Hubby is busy working. He is in Kemaman 30 minutes away, over looking his first big project. His current project involve a big ship and 2 other small ship lease by petronas for their used at their oil rigs and platform. He went to Singapore/Batam twice to oversee the progress of the ship in the making. He is responsible in making sure the ship sail smoothly from Batam and safely arrived yesterday morning in Kemaman. He has to make sure that their contractor abide to all the contract requirement before he approved that Petronas agree to accept the ship. He approved all the marine n catering crew onboard and he has to make sure they have their safety passport which is required by Petronas. He is in Kemaman to make sure everything is in order. Last night, he ordered 800tonne of oil to be supplied to his ship. Today, I am not really sure what he is doing, but i think all the marine n catering crew will be boarding the ship and it will sail out to serve at a platform offshore. 

He is tired most of the time but he seems happy. I should be happy. but I am not.

Dreams do come true. I am a princess now, but trapped in the ivory tower.

At least this girl is happy to have a brother in law working with Petronas.
